The agreement between you and Ossify when you sign up or buy a plan.
These terms explain the agreement between you and us when you create an Ossify account or buy a plan. Please read them before you sign up. If you have any questions, email info@ossify.co.uk.
Ossify is run by Ossify Education Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17136183), with its registered office at Station House, Hampstead Lane, Yalding, Maidstone, England, ME18 6HJ. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Ossify Education Ltd., and "you" means the person using Ossify.
Ossify is an online revision platform for doctors preparing for the Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA). You must be 18 or over to create an account. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
Your account is for you alone. Please:
Each plan is for one person. Sharing an account, or letting other people use yours, isn't allowed. If we find an account being shared, we may suspend it.
To use Ossify you need a plan. We offer plans for 3 months, 6 months or 1 year. Each plan is a single, one-off payment, not a subscription, so you will never be charged again automatically. Prices are shown in pounds sterling on our pricing page and before you pay. Ossify Education Ltd. is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Your access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed and lasts for the length of the plan you bought. If you buy another plan before your current one ends, the new time is added on to the end. When your plan ends, you'll no longer be able to use the platform, but we keep your progress so it's there if you buy another plan.
From time to time we may give free or discounted access, for example to people who helped test Ossify. Any such access lasts for the period we tell you, and is otherwise covered by these terms.
We offer a 10-day money-back guarantee: if Ossify isn't right for you, contact us within 10 days of buying a plan and we'll refund you in full. See our Refund Policy for how to ask. When we refund you, your access ends.
Under UK consumer law, you would normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because your access starts immediately, before you pay we ask you to confirm that you want access straight away and understand that this means you lose that 14-day right to cancel. After you pay, we email you a confirmation of your purchase, including this choice. Our 10-day money-back guarantee still applies.
None of this affects your other legal rights. For example, if Ossify is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair or a refund.
All the questions, explanations, summaries, modules, mock exams and other material on Ossify belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright. While you have a plan, we give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use them for your own revision. You must not:
Leaderboards, the Weekly Challenge and Head to Head are meant to be fun and fair. Please don't use more than one account, automated tools or anyone else's help to boost your scores. Usernames and display names must not be offensive, misleading or impersonate anyone else. We may change or remove names, scores or results that break these rules.
Ossify is a study aid for exam preparation. It is not clinical guidance, and must not be used to make decisions about the care of real patients. Always follow current national and local guidelines and your professional judgement in clinical practice.
We work hard to make our content accurate and up to date, but medicine and guidelines change, and mistakes can happen. If you think something is wrong, please tell us and we'll look into it. We can't guarantee any particular result in the MSRA or in any recruitment process.
Ossify is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, NHS England, Medical and Dental Recruitment and Selection (MDRS), Pearson VUE or any other organisation involved in running the MSRA.
We aim to keep Ossify available at all times, but we may need to pause it briefly for maintenance, and things outside our control can occasionally cause problems. We regularly add to and improve our content and features, and may change or retire some of them, but we won't make changes that substantially reduce what you've paid for during your plan.
You can close your account at any time by emailing info@ossify.co.uk. If you break these terms, for example by sharing your account or copying our content, we may suspend or close your account. If it's serious, we won't refund you. If we ever close your account when you haven't done anything wrong, we'll refund you for the unused part of your plan.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, and this is because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation.
Otherwise, Ossify is provided for your personal study. We are not responsible for losses that weren't a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, or for any business losses. Our total responsibility to you for anything relating to Ossify is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features or changes in the law. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant we'll tell you by email or on the site before they take effect. If you don't agree with a change, you can close your account, and we'll refund you for the unused part of your plan.
If you're unhappy with anything about Ossify, please tell us at info@ossify.co.uk so we can put it right. We aim to reply within 5 working days, and to resolve complaints within 14 days. If we can't sort things out together, you can contact Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) for free advice about your rights.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If there's a dispute, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
